Intel xeon e5 1650 v2 характеристики



Intel начала продажи Intel Xeon E5-1650 v2 в сентябре 2013 по рекомендованной цене 917$. Это десктопный процессор на архитектуре Ivy Bridge-E, в первую очередь рассчитанный на профессиональные системы. Он имеет 6 ядер и 12 потоков и изготовлен по 22 нм техпроцессу, максимальная частота составляет 3.90 GHz, множитель заблокирован.

С точки зрения совместимости это процессор для сокета FCLGA2011 с TDP 130 Вт. Он поддерживает память DDR3-800, DDR3-1066, DDR3-1333, DDR3-1600, DDR3-1866.

Он обеспечивает хорошую производительность в тестах на уровне 26.92% от лидера, которым является AMD EPYC 7742.

Processor Base Frequency

Processor Base Frequency describes the rate at which the processor’s transistors open and close. The processor base frequency is the operating point where TDP is defined. Frequency is measured in gigahertz (GHz), or billion cycles per second.

Max Turbo Frequency

Max turbo frequency is the maximum single core frequency at which the processor is capable of operating using IntelВ® Turbo Boost Technology and, if present, IntelВ® Thermal Velocity Boost. Frequency is measured in gigahertz (GHz), or billion cycles per second.


CPU Cache is an area of fast memory located on the processor. IntelВ® Smart Cache refers to the architecture that allows all cores to dynamically share access to the last level cache.

Bus Speed

A bus is a subsystem that transfers data between computer components or between computers. Types include front-side bus (FSB), which carries data between the CPU and memory controller hub; direct media interface (DMI), which is a point-to-point interconnection between an Intel integrated memory controller and an Intel I/O controller hub on the computer’s motherboard; and Quick Path Interconnect (QPI), which is a point-to-point interconnect between the CPU and the integrated memory controller.

QPI (Quick Path Interconnect) links are a high speed, point-to-point interconnect bus between the processor and chipset.

Thermal Design Power (TDP) represents the average power, in watts, the processor dissipates when operating at Base Frequency with all cores active under an Intel-defined, high-complexity workload. Refer to Datasheet for thermal solution requirements.

V >VID Voltage Range is an indicator of the minimum and maximum voltage values at which the processor is designed to operate. The processor communicates VID to the VRM (Voltage Regulator Module), which in turn delivers that correct voltage to the processor.

Max Memory Size (dependent on memory type)

IntelВ® processors come in four different types: a Single Channel, Dual Channel, Triple Channel, and Flex Mode.

The number of memory channels refers to the bandwidth operation for real world application.

ECC Memory Supported ‡

ECC Memory Supported indicates processor support for Error-Correcting Code memory. ECC memory is a type of system memory that can detect and correct common kinds of internal data corruption. Note that ECC memory support requires both processor and chipset support.

PCI Express Revision

PCI Express Revision is the version supported by the processor. Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (or PCIe) is a high-speed serial computer expansion bus standard for attaching hardware devices to a computer. The different PCI Express versions support different data rates.

PCI Express Configurations ‡

PCI Express (PCIe) Configurations describe the available PCIe lane configurations that can be used to link the PCH PCIe lanes to PCIe devices.

Max # of PCI Express Lanes

Серьезных изменений по сравнению с первым поколением не произошло. Новый камень чуть быстрее, чуть холоднее и потребляет меньше энергии. Это по прежнему отличный шестиядерный процессор с достаточно высокой базовой частотой и разблокированным множителем.

По соотношению ценапроизводительность является золотой серединой всей линейки. Отлично подходит для игр. В многопоточных задачах конечно уступает старшим моделям из серии Xeon 2600 v2, но может догнать, или по крайней мере приблизиться к ним, благодаря отличному разгонному потенциалу.


Хорошая брендовая материнская плата без проблем обеспечит частоту в минимум 4.5 ГГц. Большинство плат китайских производителей возьмут стандартные 4.2 ГГц. Стоит заметить, что благодаря сниженному энергопотреблению, процессор в разгоне работает стабильнее, чем 1650 v1, который не всегда проходил тесты стабильности в максимальном разгоне на китайских платах.

Сам процесс разгона не изменился: заходим в биос и в ручную устанавливаем множители для каждого ядра, после чего перезагружаемся и тестируем систему на стабильность. Чуть подробнее можно почитать здесь.

Установка множителей в bios

При желании, можно поэксперементировать с разгоном шины через setFSB, но для китайских плат смысла в этом не много, в лучшем случае получится выиграть еще пару процентов производительности.

На некоторых брендовых платах доступен также разгон страпами (в данном случае применен страп на 125 Мгц).

Куда сильнее повезло владельцам дорогих брендовых плат, которым доступны настройки питания процессора или возможность высоко задрать шину, они смогут выжать из камня все соки.

Производительность и тесты

В большинстве задач быстродействие выросло на 5-10% по сравнению с Xeon e5 1650 v1 на аналогичной частоте.

Результаты geeckbench 4 в небольшом разгоне до 4.0 ГГц

Производительность в играх по сравнению с 1650 v1 также подросла на 5-10%. Процессор даже в стоке отлично справляется со всеми современными хитами, с разгоном же запаса производительности хватит как минимум на несколько лет.

В систему с 1650 v2 можно смело ставить карты уровня nvidia 1070, а разогнанный процессор сможет нагрузить даже 1080ti и аналогичные карты.


Известно только об одной инженерной версии, имеющей код QF7V. Финальная же версия имеет код SR1AQ. Обе версии относятся к степпингу S1.

Где купить

Удобнее всего — на aliexpress. Купить e5 1650 v2 дешевле можно на ebay, но для этого придется воспользоваться услугами посредника для доставки, что будет удобно не всем. Проверенные продавцы на али:

Там же продаются и комплекты с материнскими платами и памятью, такие варианты могут быть удобны тем, кто не хочет ждать несколько посылок. Отдельно можно выделить можно сборки на Huanan x79 v2.49 и Huanan x79 Deluxe.
