Как то, играя в Фолллаут, захотел распечатать какую-нибудь машинку из игры. На тинге ничего хорошего не нашел.Вытянутые из игры модели — без текстур, а по скриншотам из игры дорисовывать не вариант.
Начал искать варианты самостоятельного извлечения ресурсов и вот что получилось.
Как и в других играх беседки (Bethesda Softworks) ресурсы хранятся в архивах, в папке Data. Но есть отличие — архивы fallout4 имеют расширение .ba2 а не .bsa , что в начале вызвало проблемы. Но в итоге была найдена программка B.A.E. — Bethesda Archive Extractor.Брал здесь
Версия 0.02( последнюю версию 0.10 можно скачать здесь https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/78 требуется регистрация. Основное отличие — нормальная работа с архивами .bsa из Fallout 3/N.V., Skyrim). Установка не требуется,просто распаковываем архив и запускаем bae.exe
Также нужно распаковать архивы Fallout4 — Textures[1-9].ba2 , иначе это все теряет смысл, так как многие детали на модели просто нарисованы. Если вы хотите извлечь какую-то конкретную модель, то придется прошерстить все архивы с текстурами.Построение каталогов аналогичное. Я не парился, распаковал всё, даже Fallout4 — Materials.ba2 , хотя не знаю нужен ли он.Так же если ван нужны модели из дополнений, то распаковываем DLC[название] — Main.ba2 и DLC[название] — Textures.ba2 .Причем в первом архиве выбираем, что нам нужно. Далее жмем Extract и выбираем (создаём) папку, где будут наши подопытные. Причем папки meshes,textures и прочие будут создаваться в ней автоматически. Теперь нам нужна программка для экспорта файлов формата .nif в более распространенный формат. Для блендера есть соответствующий плагин, но четверка ему не позубам (да тройку он жует с тормозами). Нам нужен NifSkope 2.0 Dev 7 (https://github.com/niftools/nifskope/releases/tag/v2.0.dev7)
Установка не требуется, распаковываем, запускаем и радуемся 🙂 . Здесь кнопок побольше, но в принципе, можно обойтись двумя — File->Open и File->Export->Export.OBJ. При экспорте параллельно создаётся файл формата .mtl с таким же названием. В нем хранятся пути к извлеченным текстурам. Если в NifSkope текстуры не отображаются, то во вкладке Resources добавьте путь к папке в которой находится папка с текстурами.
Но вычисление этого масштаба вызывало затруднение.Орентироваться на транспорт — гиблое дело. Двухместный бусик Волтек больше 13ти местной Газели. Недопечатанная лазерная винтовка тоже не показатель, автор мог и не заморачиваться с масштабом. Но в итоге ответ был найден : 1 GU (Game Unit) = 0,5625 дюйма = 1,42875см. Но тут закрались подозрения.Дело в том, что я как то распечатал пистолет https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-10475 и решил импортировать его модель из игры в блендер. И его габариты, без масштабирования, соответствовали напечатанной модели. Конечно автор мог не заморачиваться с масштабом, но при длине в 23 см он отлично лежит в руке, а если его увеличить до 33 см — то будет фигня. Добавил .stl — одинаковые. Добавил пистоль из третьей части и сделал копию в масштабе 10:7. Второй вариант больше подходит.
Конечно качество моделей оставляет желать лучшего и придется приложить не мало усилий, что бы довести их до ума. Но это наиболее достоверный источник из вымышленной вселенной.
P.S. Среднестатистический заморский житель не дорос 190 см. Видимо в Ф4 сменили масштаб, разница между 190 и 185 см порядка трех процентов, так что предлагаю считать 10/7*0,97 и * на требуемый масштаб, Я фишку сразу не просек, и вместо 1/35 получилось 1/34. это справедливо именно к четвертой части, с третьей все норм. С вселенной Скайрим я незнаком, сами проверите.

PIP-Boy 2000 MK VI
What is it? This is the Pip-Boy 2000 Mk VI from Fallout 76. This pre-war Personal Information Processor (PIP) was manufactured by RobCo Industries and is the updated version of the Pip-boy 2000 (from Fallout Tactics). But unlike its cousin model, the MK VI has the control panels on the right side of the screen.
What’s S.P.E.C.I.A.L.? This Pip-Boy is a prop with (currently) no electrical cavities. You can choose two different versions of the main screen. We recommend the split version, as it is much easier to print.

Fallout 76 Countdown Sign
What is it? If you are like us, you were just as eagerly awaiting Fallout 76. Holo Tape
What is it? The Holo Tape, or THT-tape is used to store information safely for extended time periods. As a seasoned Fallout player you probably already know, that the tape is produced by Wattz Electronics and can commonly hold as much as 256 kilobyte. But according to Vree, there are some with up to 4 terabyte of storage space, which suggests that Holo Tapes were already used before the Great War.

Fallout Combat Armour
What is it? This sturdy Combat Armour was issued by the United States Armed Forces during the Great War and provides its carrier with balanced damage and energy resistance. It first appeared in Fallout 4 and has made a comeback in Fallout 76.
What’s S.P.E.C.I.A.L.? This Armour is designed to fit a 180 lbs, 6 feet (180 cm, 80 kg) male, but can be resized to your height. All parts except the forearm, chest, back, jock and left and right thighs need to be printed twice, as they are identical for the left and right. If you have a pip-boy then you need to only print one forearm, as the pip-boy takes up the place. The print takes roughly about 400 hours, and uses about 2,5 kg of 3D printing filament.
